" Never use this company, they quoted me $1,000 and I ended up paying $6,000. They opened all of my boxes and they stole all my purses, shoes, electronics, and a lot of my personal stuff. NEVER use this company. I will be suing them! "

" DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. I hired Trinity Van Lines to handle my move and come to find out they are only brokers. They hired All American Movers to do my move. All American Movers arrived on July 16, 2020 at 10:00 pm! They handed me blank documents and asked me to sign them. Of course I refused to sign blank documents. I did however fill out my information on the papers, name, address, new address, phone number etc. When they finished loading my furniture at 2:30 am one of the guys tried calling the office to find out how to fill out the paperwork. He could not get a signal on his cell phone. After several attempts he told me that someone from the office would contact me in the morning. After not receiving a call after 2 days I started calling them. Left several voice mails, emailed several times explaining that I had no paperwork what so ever from them. only to get a standard reply that furniture delivery could take up to 21 business days. Well today is August 23, 2020 and I still have no furniture. It has been 38 days and 27 business days! There has only one time where I called and actually got a hold of someone, Christina. She put me on hold for 45 minutes and never came back to the line. I called from a different phone and she answered. When asked if she was ever going to come back to the other line she responded saying that she was checking with her supervisor. She then informed me that I needed to come up with an additional $600.00 since I had more items then what was accounted for. This is a LIE! I had exactly what was on my list. I measured every tote, box, and furniture. The movers even left 4 totes behind and never brought a tv box that I was charged $50.00 for. So it should of been less. This is how they treat people. She told me that my delivery was be expedited. Another 2 weeks have passed since then and I still have no furniture and received no phone call. Trinity Van Lines have been no help in getting my furniture and now they tell me that they will not respond to me anymore. Stay away from both of these companies. It is so sad that these companies have no idea what customer service is and you have to resort to filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. " NEVER USE THEM, POSITIVE REVIEWS WERE ALL LIES! TOTAL SCAM!
Horrible, rude, ignorant, fraudulent, lazy, greedy company and workers.
Made a contract agreement with Erica for estimated charge of $4500 after providing a very detailed inventory, that at most underestimated 2-3 boxes, with all furniture included. Price raised by 125% after what was able to fit of our possessions was loaded to the truck, with further issues of fraud. Moving truck too small and no second truck sent which was promised in original agreement if this happens, especially when our inventory list was accurate to within a few boxes.
Truck arrives and not even from their own company as promised but said Allied National, with hole in door noted to be covered by cardboard to keep items dry. Possessions left behind-patio table, end tables, lamps, child's toy kitchen, other multiple bins.
We specifically asked how much to put for down payment many times, were told by Erica none is necessary, we would have to pay 40% up front. Had certified check made for 40% of the initial agreed-upon price. After items were loaded to the truck, they requested 60% of the increased price, stating we were supposed to have put a down payment, and since we didn’t they need down payment & 40% of the new estimated price.
Had contract for a direct trip; our items would never be on a shared flatbed, instead they would pick up items &drop them off on specific dates noted in contract. This was repeatedly asked by us to be sure this was the deal in contract. After items were loaded, were told they would move them to a flatbed & the earliest possible date of deliver would be a different date, and also we could have to wait up to 30 days from that date to even get our items dropped off. In order to get the direct trip, we had to pay an extra $2000 to accommodate them not using the larger flatbed truck.
Many of the conversations involving the increase in price were discussed with Alex, who we were told is supervisor there. He was rude enough to insinuate we didn’t have the money to make the trip, said we are ignorant, brought me to tears with his words, he was overall unpleasant and difficult to deal with. At some point he implied that they needed the money up front to pay for the trip, but when I questioned that he backpedaled to say I was insinuating things he never said. He refused to speak to me, noting a supervisor named John would call me. When John did, he basically said there was nothing he can do, as Alex is above him. When I asked to speak to a person above Alex, I was laughed at, told that would only be the owner or president who "does not deal with customers" How can supervisors speak to customers this way and still have a company? NOT IF NO ONE USES THEM ANYMORE!!
We were promised 3 workers to load our furniture in Chicago, and the same 3 would unload in Florida. They were also responsible for taking apart and putting back together furniture. 2 of the 3 workers arrived in Florida, and they never had a third person. I witnessed may issues where they were poorly stacking our furniture. At some point a small filing cabinet was literally thrown into the moving truck, and I saw the wheels snap from it. Many of the furniture items were put together poorly, with screws that were stripped, and I had to correct all of it after the fact. There was also an entire desk that they left in pieces, and I hadn’t gone in to the room that it was in to notice it before the movers had left. "
