" Just tried to go in for dinner at 8:30pm. The host said "unfortunately we are not taking any more names for dinner because we are at full capacity and the band is here and has so do sound check so we can't take any more names for dinner." Not sure how that affects your ability to serve food, and there were at least 10 tables open (I took photos) between the bar and the patio. What a letdown. We will not be coming back. Update: just spoke to Wendy, the manager, and asked why we weren't able to be sat for dinner when the website says they serve dinner until 9. She replied that they serve until 9 because they have a band at 10. I said we just came in at 8:30 and weren't able to get seated, and she changed the story to "well we usually seat by 8:30 or he must have had a wait." In the customer service business, you should probably serve customers, not then away people who want to give you money when you have a half empty restaurant. "

" We were biking today and decided to take a break. This was our first visit to this restaurant. We enjoyed the fresh air on the outdoor patio. The service was prompt and friendly and the food very good. We will go back! "

" One member of the wait staff is very enthusiastic and friendly. He is kind of surprising when you first meet him, but is pretty cool. We ordered some dip that we didn't like, and he took it off our bill even though we told him it was our fault. We have him the money as a tip. Great service!!! "

" This place has people problems. First let me say we rode our motorcycles there from Columbus. We do not fit the biker crowd, so there is no way they knew we rode in. We stood at the end of the bar since we had been sitting for about an hour and a half for the ride. After 45 minutes one of the girls said she was hungry. I walked to the hostess and asked if we could sit at a table that had been open for the entire time we were there. She told me there was a waiting list and couldn't seat us ahead of others. No problem. I got a menu and walked over to our group. We had three rounds by now and two people decided to order. I asked the bartender, the same one that couldn't give five people the right beers, if he could take our order or if I had to give it to a waitress. He said we couldn't eat at the bar. There were condiments on the bar and a guy eating a cheeseburger 3 seats down! By this time we had been there an hour and the table I was watching was still open. When I pointed out the condiments and the guy eating I was told he couldn't give us food because we were standing. I told the two girls to sit at the last two stools we had and he said he couldn't have us standing around. We left. Oh, and one guy left his prescription sun glasses on the bar on accident. When he walked back in to get them they were gone and nobody was at that end of the bar. They told him to go down the street and make a police report. What a bunch of rude jackasses! "

" Always a great place to start dining in Yellow Springs. Full service restaurant and bar. Huge craft beer selection. Always try to eat on patio to watch the uniqueness of Yellow Springs pass by plus the inside is always cold for some reason. Wraps and burgers aplenty. Never have an issue here. Live music occasionally. "

" My absolute favorite watering-hole in all of yellow springs. They've recently updated their menu and it's for the better! Great beer selection, great tunes, great atmosphere. Also they have a fusball table. I'm at home here. "

" Visited on Labor Day for dinner and drinks. Restaurant was about half full but wait time to be seated was 45 minutes. Obvious that they were VERY understaffed as it took 15 minutes for server to greet us after being seated. Much of the food on the menu was OUT. All 4 people in my party had to change something on their order due to being out (no french fries, chips, Cod dinner.) I had to change entree and side dish order. Once I settled for food they had in stock, I was thankful that it was quite good. Ordering from 2 different beer boards (once while waiting for seat and once at table) had to order twice due to first beer choice being out. Atmosphere was pretty standard for American bar and grille. Host and server were both incredibly friendly. First bartender I ordered from was smug and rude when asking questions about the beers. Overall, I would like to try this restaurant again because this visit was incredibly underwhelming after being talked up by a friend. "
