" I have just left the Soapbox Coin Laundry on South Limestone and I was treated atrociously by its manager/attendant for arriving too close to the Laundromat last load time of 7:30pm. It reads that in LARGE LETTERS on its window facing Singer St. I had arrived a 7:23pm. I could not get there any sooner. Upon arrival while opening the trunk of my car I had been yelled and cussed at by the manager/attendant. She screamed at me claiming that I am the one who has purposely been coming at 7:27pm for several nights. When I had attempted to explain that this was not the case she went into a tirade further claiming that all of the women who worked there have complained of the same, indicating what I wear and the car I drive. When I calmly asked if she were accusing me of coming at this time purposely she backed away from that attack. She then went on to again claim that I did this all the time. As she was screaming I continued to start washing my clothes as a person who seemed to be related to her stated that I was refusing to leave. This is when I asked her directly if she wanted me to leave to which she said no but then directed my attention to a hand written sign that had been taped to the door's window indicating that the last load needed to be in by 6:45pm. She stated that this was done because of me and that by doing my clothes I was disregarding it. When I reminded her of the window with the LARGE LETTERS referring to the 7:30 sign, she said that it doesn't matter. I've seen this woman scream at people before, mainly regarding personal issues that somehow followed her to her job. In the past she had been kind to me and helpful. She had even entrusted me with watching the Laundromat while she ran a brief errand. I was totally shocked and surprised at this treatment and will attempt to contact the owner(s) to get clear on their Last Load policy and if it is common for their staff to treat long term customers {I have been utilizing this Laundromat for nearly 2 years] in this way. "
