Tall Oak Midstream was founded in early 2014 by a team of experienced executives with diverse and complementary backgrounds across the midstream and upstream sectors. With a firm belief in a set of core values and a dedication to creating a customer-driven company that operates with excellence as its standard, the Tall Oak team provides oil and gas producers a full suite of midstream services.
The Tall Oak team includes talented commercial managers, engineers and facility operators who have demonstrated the ability to create value. We have what it takes to develop and manage large-scale midstream assets with a customer-first approach that provides innovative solutions and safe, reliable service.
Tall Oak is currently completing two natural gas gathering and processing systems in Oklahoma, the Tall Oak CNOW System and the Tall Oak STACK System. In Q3 2015 Tall Oak’s total cryogenic processing capacity in the Mid-Continent will reach 175 MMcf/d across two systems with a total of 400 miles of gathering pipeline.
Our CNOW System serves multiple producers targeting the play’s liquids-rich, stacked pay zones including the Mississippi Lime, Woodford Shale and Cleveland formations. We are exploring opportunities to build a crude oil gathering system to serve the same area.
Tall Oak’s initial CNOW System includes:
•A 250-mile, low-pressure gas gathering system spanning Creek, Logan, Lincoln, Noble, Payne and Pawnee counties.
•Multiple compression sites;
•175 miles of gathering pipeline and three compressor stations are in service. Tall Oak plans to install an additional 75 miles of pipeline and five more compressor stations.
•The Battle Ridge Plant, a state-of-the-art cryogenic processing plant located in Payne County. The plant has nitrogen rejection capabilities and was placed into service in February 2015 with an initial capacity of 75 MMcf/d. Planned expansions call for 300 MMcf/d total capacity as customer demand increases;
•Direct access to premium downstream markets, including Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline and Enable Gas Transmission for residue gas.
The CNOW system is anchored by a long-term acreage dedication from American Energy-Woodford, LLC, an affiliate of American Energy Partners, LP.
Our STACK System serves multiple producers targeting the play’s stacked pay zones including the Upper and Lower Mississippian Meramec, Osage, Woodford Shale and Hunton formations. The system will also have the capacity to serve production from the Woodford and Springer Shale plays and other portions of the SCOOP play.
Tall Oak's initial STACK Natural Gas System includes:
•A 210-mile, low-pressure gas gathering system spanning Logan, Kingfisher, Blaine and Canadian counties;
•Multiple compression sites;
•Tall Oak is currently operating 60 miles of gathering pipeline and one compressor station with plans to complete an additional 150 miles of pipe and two more compressor stations in 2015.
•The Chisholm Plant, a state-of-the-art cryogenic processing plant located in Kingfisher County. The plant is expected to come into service in Q3 2015 with an initial capacity of 100 MMcf/d. Planned expansions call for 400 MMcf/d total capacity as customer demand increases.
The STACK Natural Gas system is anchored by long-term acreage dedications from Felix Energy, LLC and PayRock Energy, LLC.
Tall Oak announced development of the STACK Crude Oil System in May 2015. Anchored by Felix Energy, LLC, the crude system is expected to come into service by Q4 2015 and includes:
•A storage and truck unloading facility east of Okarche, Oklahoma in the heart of the STACK. The terminal will have an unloading capacity of 16,000 bpd and storage capacity of 20,000 barrels, with plans to expand to 70,000 barrels.
•A 20-mile pipeline that will provide connection to multiple downstream markets.
Ultimately, Tall Oak expects to construct a 210-mile gathering system that will provide wellhead service. To serve customers while the gathering system is under construction, Tall Oak has contracted for a fleet of dedicated trucks that will deliver crude oil from the wellhead to the terminal.
