Northwest Taekwon-Do is an ITF style Taekwon-Do school. We strive to teach all aspects of Taekwon-Do as created by its founder General Choi Hong Hi. We offer the traditional aspects of Taekwon-Do while emphasizing the essential self defense foundation of Taekwon-Do. Although self defense is the obvious objective of Taekwon-Do, to achieve this goal we also focus on physical fitness & mental discipline to successfully defend yourself when needed, but also to help guide you through the other challenges faced in life.
NWTKD is currently not affiliated with any of the ITF's but the Instructor is working on membership with the OTFA & ITF. These memberships will be offered to the students, but NOT required. All NWTKD members will be certified through NWTKD by Instructor Troy Baker. Members of the OTFA/ITF will also be offered OTFA/ITF certifications.
