" Marilyn's is not your ordinary restaurant, it's more like going to Mom's for dinner. The owner is almost always there and you're sure to get a warm welcome. If that's not enough, the meals are outstanding and portions are very generous. I discovered this gem about two weeks ago and have been back several times with family and friends. " The food was good once we finally got it. The servers were nice but kind of short with people and you got to watch the kitchen staff and front of house argue about tickets. We will go back but we will call ahead and order take out. I had a gyro plate with salad and Hummus. Yum! He had a gyro sandwich and cioppino. The "stew" was not a stew but a loose broth. Flavor was good but not what was expected. "

" Outstanding food and incredible staff. I missed all the great "hole in the wall" restaurants in LA and thought it was a trade off for living in the 'burbs. Then I stumbled on Marilyn's...the food rivals the best spots in LA on taste and quality. It appears to be family-run and everyone there (staff) was happy and friendly. I highly recommend the experience to all Mediterranean food lovers! "

Marilyn's came recommended from friends to mom who recommended it to us. We were super happy with the fish tacos and she was quite happy with the special. Everything was really fresh and smelled & looked good. Descent quantity and price. Great taste and quality. "

" The food was delicious. Prices not too bad either. I had the grilled fish tacos-amazing! The only issue we had was the delay in getting our food. Their weren't more than a few tables filled but we as did the family next to us, waited for close to 30 mins. to get our food. It seemed that they were very busy filling to go orders. I get that but they either need more kitchen staff or serve the people sitting in the restaurant first. Again the food was really delicious. We will give it another try for sure. "
