The purpose of this initiative is to bring awareness to the dangers of living and traveling on Macada Road. The speeding cars, delivery trucks, garbage trucks, walkers, runners, kids, cyclist, pets, and the fact that Macada Road and it's arteries are the busiest thoroughfares connecting Linden Street to Schoenersville Road, makes for dangerous combinations. There are times of the day that travel on Macada Road is impossible for pedestrians, making us prisoners in our own homes, or forcing us to have to use a motor vehicle. Isn't it ridiculous for us to have to get in our cars to go to a safer area to take a walk, or to take our kids or pets for a walk? Please like our page if you are a resident of Macada Road or a neighboring street, to make our elected officials aware that measures must be taken in order for us all to be safe on our streets.
