" Visited Liberty for lunch today thinking they had a lunch menu. After placing our drink order, we realized they no longer had one and the prices seemed a bit high for lunch. I had shrimp tacos (2 for $10.95) which had good flavor but were cold by the time they made it out to me. My husband had the chicken nachos ($11.95), half of which were cold almost like they didn't put the plate all the way in the warmer to heat them up. The food took entirely too long to get out to us given how dead the place was as it was a rainy day. Our server was very nice but overall we had a very disappointing experience! "

" Great service and delicious food! The most delicious, HUGE slice of chocolate cake I have ever had!! First visit a couple of weeks ago, I had the Duck BLT sandwich; mouth watering delicious; second visit last Saturday, I had the Cod fish, also delicious. My entire party enjoyed their lunch. No complaints whatsoever. "

" Downtown, depending on preferences that could be a plus or minus, everything else is 5 star. Excellent beer selection, and the bartender can intelligently discuss not only what's on tap but the breweries that make the beer too. Friendly and professional staff. The food is good, I've been there a few times and have sampled different menu items. Have yet to have a bad meal here. I enjoy the bar side, dining room, or beer garden seating options. Makes it easier to go here with differing crowds of friends. Highly recommend. "

" I love the setting here. It’s a bit upscale for my style but it’s good to splurge once in awhile. The food here is just amazing. How they prepare the steak is just perfect. "

" Road trip had one night in Columbia SC. We wandered over to Liberty Tap Room and Grille from Aloft Hotel. Amazing beer selection! JT behind the bar helped me pick out some local SC beers and gave me tastes of those I might like. So friendly and hospitable! He suggested the Duck BLT, newish item on the menu. It was simply amazing! Highly recommend! Also had the sirloin steak salad. Hubby and I were very pleased. Would definitely revisit if ever back this way. "

" Never been here so wanted to try it out. Many other restaurants around here but glad we went here. Very big wasn't busy on a Saturday at lunch for 130. Food was good with a variety of options. Staff was fast and friendly. I had the liberty club sand which which comes with fries but you can get another side instead and chose the broccoli. Would go back. Prices are good. "

" Split rating - 4 Star for Food; 2 Star for the service. My wife and I stopped here to eat on a Sunday we were passing through. Were not far from the area and have heard many good things about this place over the years. My rating is based off our visit which was absolutely horrible. A waiter serving food at a table next to us spilled a dipping sauce all over my wife and failed to apologize. Next, I found a plastic bread tie in my food. Other than these couple of negative items, the food was rather good. The manager took my food off the bill and gave me a free to go box of what i ordered and took another 20% off our bill. "

" Great bar area but the dinning room isn't that big. Live music after 9, and they opened a back bar that spread everyone out. Great atmosphere and good menu. A little pricey but worth it. "
