" Just recently ate here, and I had an unusually unpleasant experience. The portion sizes have gotten smaller, and the waitress we had was trying to rush us out the second we got here. I don’t know if this was a directive of her manager or simply her. The sushi ordered had missing ingredients as well as a plethora of filler. I’m not sure if the management is trying to save money by reducing portion sizes and increase the quantity of rice in their rolls, but this place has sadly gotten much worse. Not worth the price and I would recommend visiting some of the other restaurants in the vista instead of this place. "

" My girlfriend and I are regulars we go once a week (every Sunday). John and Adam always take care of us! The last time we went (Saturday night) we decided to sit at a table because we had 4 other people with us our server Emily was very bubbly but she never checked on us not once and what bothered me was she told us when she came to the table servers were arguing over who was going to take the table and she said she would because she wasn’t busy! Why weren’t we checked on then? Needles to say we needed her! We had to wave her down and every bodies food was cold except my girlfriend and I! The manager took their plates away and came right back out with the same food and it was still cold. One of the people we went with had veins in their shrimp and the manager stated he orders deveined shrimp which shows that they don’t properly clean their food! When I approached him he raised his voice and snatched the tickets out of my hand! This is a place of business and when I told him he needed to lower his voice he said “the music is loud”! Never did they apologize or ask what could be done until we walked out. We won’t be back for a VERRRREYYYYYY LONG TIME! Thank you for embarrassing us in front of our friends after we confidently stated how amazing you guys are. "

" Went for happy hour and the sushi was not great...the rice was dry on our rolls. Our waitress didn’t come around much and our appetizer didn’t come until after our sushi did. I might would come back and try something other than the happy hour special, because I’d rather have one “speciality” roll that is very good than 3 mediocre rolls for that price. "

" Our waiter was great and the rolls were absolutely delicious. I loved the feel of the old brick building with the contemporary Iinterior design. It's not a calm quiet place like many sushi joints, but my companion and I could easily have a conversation over our meal without any difficulty hearing each other. "

" Good food and service. We came with our dog and had to sit outside, so they sat is immediately even though there was a wait otherwise. I think it's because of this that the service was slow. The rolls were good, got the green dragon and gamecock. Not out of this world, but good. "

" I went to Tsunami last week with three other friends to celebrate a special occasion. Everything was fine aside from the fact that our server accidentally poured my entire plate of teriyaki chicken, fried rice and vegetables into my lap. She apologized many times and brought out another plate, but at the end of our meal, she brought my check and I was very surprised to see that she had not discounted or taken care of my meal completely. I'm not one to look for excuses for free meals, so I didn't say anything, but I personally think that having my dinner poured into my lap is a good enough reason to receive some sort of compensation.

I also had no manager or supervisor come to the table to apologize, check on us, or even offer a free dessert. My assumption is that our server didn't tell her supervisors so she wouldn't get in trouble - or at least I hope that's the reason a manger didn't come by to make sure everything was smoothed over.

The next day, I emailed the restaurant from the contact information on their website to let them know what happened. It's been almost a week and I haven't heard back. Needless to say, I'm not in a hurry to come back to this restaurant. With reading these other reviews, it's clear customer satisfaction isn't a high priority. "

" Reservation for 7 at 730. They forgot our edamame app until after sushi started to arrive. Took over an HR for 2 meals, rest of the group was long done with their meal. After speaking to the manager she took off $5 when out bill was about $400. Horrendous and won't go back. "

" Do not recommend! Poor Customer Service, tables available but unable to be serve due to staffing issues, which was understandable. There were 2 sits available at the bar unattended and we ask the guest that were sitting there if someone was sitting there and was told no. The bartender came to us and said someone is sitting there and they are on the way. I told the bartender Tsunamis do not hold tables based on what the greeter told me. The bartender had no valuable explanation and walked off I then requested to speak to the manager. I spoke to Evan which apologized and told me we could sit there, and that the only people that were sitting there was employees but they had left. Evan handle the situation in a professional manner but I declined service due to his unprofessional and rude staff. If you want Tsunamis try the one on Harbinson . "
