Youth Development/4-H Programs Emphasize:
* Involving youth in civic activity and actively engaging them in meaningful roles.
* Teaching local groups how to access and improve their youth development programs and activities.
* Improving youth skills in interpersonal relations - communications, negotiations, group and personal decision making and dealing with conflict.
* Improving personal leadership skills and applications of those skills.
