Service Guard is a division of Black Hills Energy and operates in BHE territories. Service Guard specializes in repairing all major brands of home appliances, both gas and electric. Service Guard services vary by region and are available in parts of Colorado, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. In some locations we even perform sales and installation of name-brand water heaters and heating & cooling systems.

More than 60,000 families in the Black Hills Energy service area have a Service Guard plan, which protects against unexpected repair costs by providing parts and labor at no charge for covered repairs. Plans start at just $17.50* a month.

No plan, no problem! Service Guard also offers repairs for customers who prefer to call us only when they need us. And our rates are competitive. We charge a flat hourly rate of $75 per hour during regular hours.
