" This is a great little stop for exploring all Austin has to offer. Staff members conscientiously highlight the items of greatest interest, and there's a little shop with Austin souvenirs. Note: Though the huge Austin Visitor Center sign is on the corner of Red River and 4th, you'll actually need to walk a little bit further down 4th to see the entrance to this place, which is just to the left of Austin Duck Adventures. "

" More of a gift shop than a visitor center. I dont feel it warrants paying to park in a parking garage to buy souvenirs. They had a few local pamphlets on the wall next to the bathroom but as more of an afterthought. If you want local information, you should go to the Austin Capitol Visitor center
They have all you need and helpful staff as opposed to this place. "

" Austin is an inhospitable place! The drivers lack courtesy, wait staff at the restaurants we patroned we rude and unfriendly! Terrible experience. I would drive through this area for the scenery but I would not give a cent to their economy! They really don't want your business. They could care less and it shows! "
