I graduated from Otis/parsons school of Art and design with a major in architectural design and my love for sweets were the perfect combination for ccm. my interest in 3 d custom cake designs began when I had my first son. I grew up in Venezuela and the birthday cake are consider the highlight of any event. inspired by those memories. I wanted to create the same memories for my son that I had growing up, those beautiful delicious cakes. with only three bakeries in Austin back in and 1996. None match my vision , so I said “ I can do this”, so I started experimenting combining my architectural background and my love for baking I was able to create my sons first birthday cake!!!! I begin creating custom 3-D cakes for family and friends as the demand grew. I decided to advertise in a children’s newsletter to supplement my income and eventually the high demand lead me to open a storefront in 2004 which I later close in 2010 due to personal reasons. So I decided to focus solidly on Cake designing from my converted garage into a full kitchen. Me and my two part time assistants are witnesses of seeing the joy in our Customer faces when they see their cakes for the first time is truly rewarding. Turning my passion for baking and love for sweets and using my architectural degree into creating all of our masterpieces it’s has been a fulfilling journey. My motto is edible art, where Art, taste and design come all together.
