My sister in law made an online reservation for one night (October 28th) through Expedia for $69, and according to the “manager” Chen, there was no information sent to them. He offered a room for $110 and was persistent that there was no reservation. After getting a hold of the Expedia costumer service, the man denied having any rooms available. Reading over some reviews, it’s obvious this man makes his money by ripping people off. This place is not remotely close to a one star rate. DO NOT BOOK HERE! "

" Manager very helpful and friendly, but online reservation was nowhere to be found. Rates very competitive. Room was clean, but armchair in room was dirty and stained...shampoo or recover needed. Limited breakfast, but had biscuits and gravy and waffles. All in all, good value for money. "

" Don't stay here if you use Wyndham Rewards points. I booked a room on a go-fast rate for $50.85 after tax. They would not honor the go fast rate. They wanted $69 + tax for the room. "

" I was in town visiting family. The pool was shut down and posted on door the city said it didnt meet code. Room I booked was supposed to have Jacuzzi in it and it didn't. When I asked they said I'd have to pay extra. The front desk cornered my kids and wouldn't allow them to leave the lobby. Call my room made me go to front desk said I didn't pay for visitors. My room was not cleaned for 3 days and waterbug was in bathroom. Was a total nightmare. "

" The man who checked us in was excellent! Rooms were clean and the A/C was on for us! I highly recommend this stop for weary travelers along IH-35...Its worth the stop! We arrived exhausted, and found a Whataurger very close...Great experience! "

" We stayed here out of necessity not by choice. Every hotel between here & Killeen was booked, so we were stuck with this place. The only King room left was the King smoking jacuzzi suite. They did give it to us for $100 for the night, but not worth it when compared to the other local hotel rates, but when no other hotels are available it worked. The staff is friendly, but the lobby & breakfast area smells very strongly of curry. The rooms are outdated other then a small flat-screen T.V. There were stains all over the floor in the room & the carpet was ripped. The rooms were clean though, even when I moved the dresser to plug in my cell phone charger I didn't see the dust bunnies & crumb I have seen at even higher end hotels. This would be a great hotel if they remodeled the place to match the price they are charging. In a crunch it works, but I wouldn't choose it if I had other options available. They do have an outdoor pool & they have a breakfast bar with limited options. "

" Spent a week here in Oct 2016 while shopping for a motorhome next door. Dog friendly at $10 extra per day. They try to put guests in the back rooms so you can't hear the interstate, and we didn't. Paul the night manager is a real history buff and always had the coffee started by 4:30 AM. We intend to stay again when the motorhome is in service. Of the handful of hotels in the area all offering the same amenities, this one was quiet and secure. "

" I like that breakfast doesn't end until 10am, it lets me sleep in a little. The cleaning personnel could do a little better and the a/c needs the filters cleaned. "
