The DC Gurly Show, founded in 2005, is the capital's only queer burlesque troupe and the largest burlesque troupe in the city. We perform monthly shows at The Pinch in Columbia Heights and occasional shows at other venues.

Our roster includes over a dozen Gurlies, many of whom also appear regularly in shows throughout the DC-Baltimore region and at festivals nationwide. We also have a roster of Apprenteases, newer performers who receive mentorship, training, and stage experience on the path to becoming full Gurlies.

We are proud not only to offer quality queer burlesque every month to our fans, our friends, and our community, but also to serve as a safe and inclusive space for new and seasoned performers alike. Through monthly peer review sessions, workshops, mentorship pairings, and festival sponsorships, we provide practical, tangible support to our members and challenge ourselves to constantly improve.
