It's mid-week for most people, but the beginning of the work week for us (we work through the weekend!). Take a break and come join us! Our BBQ is hot and fresh, all the sides, sauces, dressings and desserts are made from scratch, and we are ready to serve you with warm Southern hospitality! Mark your calendars for this Friday night and the first "Alive After Five" event in downtown Senoia. We will be offering $1.00 off your first wine or beer if you show us a receipt for $20 or more from any other downtown Senoia merchant. Oh, and there will be musicians and visual artists on the streets! It's going to be a great event - hope you'll be there!

It’s a beautiful day in downtown Senoia. The birds are singing sweetly, and soon they will be harmonizing with the first annual Music Festival! Festivities are 2-10 p.m. We are open late tonight (kitchen ‘til 8:00, drinks and dessert ‘til 10), and we will also have take-out BBQ sandwiches, beer, wine, and our new low-alcohol specialty drinks served outside on our porch. Come, listen, and enjoy!

We need someone to help out, full or part time, in our made-from-scratch restaurant kitchen in downtown Senoia. We smoke our own BBQ daily, so you will be around smoke and meat. Because we make our own food from fresh ingredients, you need to be able to follow written recipes accurately. You must also love cleanliness and cleaning. We have a pleasant team of nice people to work with, and we don't allow yelling and meanness in our kitchen. We can train someone with no commercial experience but a strong desire to learn. Living somewhere near Senoia would be a plus, since a long, grueling commute to work does not usually make for a very happy work experience. If you like cooking and hospitality, this may be the right position for you!

It’s a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend in Senoia, and flowers are blooming everywhere. We are excited to present a rose to all the ladies who visit us tomorrow (Sunday) as we are celebrating the mother in all of us - mom, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, fur-mom, friend. We will celebrate with fresh beignets and a special of “Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast with a Mimosa,” along with our other delicious, made-from-scratch food. We hope you can join us!

Artists will be showing their work or demonstrating their techniques all over downtown. Two of us will be at Katie Lou's - one inside, one outside.
