Marshall Browning Hospital (MBH) is a fully accredited, not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital. The Hospital has 25 acute-care beds and a workforce of over 200 employees. MBH is your community healthcare provider that sits on a beautiful 17-acre campus which includes a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, a 22-unit independent living facility, and a beautiful rural health clinic.

MBH is a 25-bed facility offering inpatient and outpatient care; emergency, medical and surgical services, rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging and over 20 specialty clinics. Our sole purpose is to provide excellence in healthcare to the communities we serve and we are committed to community health education, wellness and preventative medicine.

We at MBH are proud of the hospital's many achievements, and above all, the friendly and family-like atmosphere. MBH has received accreditation from The Joint Commission as a result of its demonstrated compliance with The Joint Commission's national recognized health care standards.

In addition, MBH offers a variety of specialty clinics that include 19 specialists from the Southern Illinois and St. Louis region. This allows patients who require the services of a specialist to remain in their local community without having to travel out of town. Current specialty clinics offered include Cardiology, Coumadin Clinic, Dietary Consultation, Diabetes Educator, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Oncology/Hematology, Otolaryngology, Pain Management, Podiatry, Pulmonology , Rheumatology, Surgery and Urology.
