I turned my childhood love of reading and writing stories into a very satisfying career as an English teacher. Recently retired, I still have a passion for written language and in helping others to communicate their ideas effectively and to find their voices to tell their stories.

Write From Here is my way of supporting young readers and writers. It will also be a platform for connecting to other writers and businesses and offering a proofreader and editor to help them deliver their message to a broad audience.

I offer virtual tutoring for students in middle and high school in all areas of English studies to support their learning and enrich their understanding of the language arts. This includes all genres of writing, reading and literature studies, grammar, vocabulary, and standardized test preparation. A student may need a reading buddy or a writing coach, homework help, or some guidance on a college essay or application letter.

I can also provide remote editing, proofreading, grant-writing, copywriting, and promotional or newsletter writing for small businesses and independent writers. Tell me your ideas, your mission, or your product description, and I'll help you compose a statement to deliver your message with style.
