We developed a SMS and Android mobile wallet platform that allows users to send, receive, store and exchange digitallocal currency. We are PayPal for the developing world, and function independent of the traditional banking system. In fact (call us crazy), we plan to disrupt the developing world's current banking structure. Using Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) as our distribution channel, we interface directly with MFI current loan management software, or let them use our fork of the MifosX (open source loan management, business intelligence, accounting platform). MFIs can send loans and receive payments through our system, easily track loan status, etc., and our wallet gains global presence exponentially faster than we would otherwise.
