My aging mother-in-law recently went to House of Hearing unbeknownst to us due to a question she had about her balance. She left with a very expensive set of hearing aids.
After weeks of the new hearing aides not working at all, as in the they were physically broken and had to be replaced. She told them she didn't want them and unsuccessfully tried to return them.
Dr. Turgoose reviewed her situation and said that she was borderline on needing any hearing aides at all. He graciously spent time with us advising us on what to do. There was no motive to cancel and get our business as he didn't even think she needed another exam.
Thank you for being really caring about people and recommending what's best for the patient. When the time comes we will be back! "

" Last year I had much the same experience with Lakeside Audiology as the previous poster. Before ordering a hearing aid the Dr told me that with my insurance it could possible by $0 out of pocket and no more that $500. You can imagine my shock when a bill for more than $1200 arrived. I informed them of their error and sent the $500, their only attempt to make things right was to send it to their collections attorney. I guess it was my mistake for believing this crook and not getting his lies in writing.
