Ericka M. Battle is an associate in the offices of Coates & Davenport. She practices in the areas of rental property representation and criminal/traffic law. Prior to joining the firm, she was employed at a small firm owned by a former Virginia Common­wealth Attorney, where she handled civil litigation, criminal law, real property and contract matters.

Ericka graduated from the Douglas L. Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University
in Richmond, with a B.A. in Political Science, and then attended Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in 2013. While attending law school, she interned with the Hampton Common­wealth's Attorney's Office and a consumer law clinic, and studied international law in France. Prior to attending law school, she was a legislative aide with the Virginia General Assembly.

She is active in a variety of community and non-profit organizations in the Richmond area.
