" A new enameled cast iron tub was successfully moved up three flights of stairs and installed in our small bathroom in one day. We will gladly give Fernando and John of Hunts our recommendation. We contacted Hunt's at the recommendation of our neighbor. We called to coordinate a quote and they were very responsive. The initial visit cost $99.00, we were advised, but if they could do the work that day the fee would be discounted from our total. Hunt's sent me a reminder text the day before confirming our appointment and then again the morning of our appointment. We waited all day and finally received an advisory text. No techs are available today, if you do not have an emergency situation please call to reschedule and your initial fee will be discounted by $35.00. We rescheduled for later that same week. Fernando came out reviewed our job, gave us a quote to remove an old tub and surround, install the new enameled cast iron tub, and replumb the fixtures for the new tub/shower fixtures we purchased elsewhere. We were charged for the visit less the $35.00 discount. We negotiated the price a bit lower as we would remove the old tub surround ourselves (and Fernando would haul it away). We agreed to the amended bid and paid 1/2 to secure the appointment. On the day of the job Fernando and his apprentice arrived as expected. After looking at the tub and where it had to go, they asked if we would be okay with it if they could not do the job. We were surprised. (They were, reasonably, intimidated by the task of moving a 310# 30x60 tub up three flights of stairs). After a brief strategy consultation we all pitched in to make it happen. Knowing that we were amenable to strategizing, Fernando and John applied all of their expertise to our job engaging us as needed to get our tub into place. The job took all day, but everyone was fully satisfied with the results. Thanks Hunts. "

" I needed an hvac repair immediately.
I needed a wall vent turned into a floor vent.
I called, Nikki in the office answered and she was super helpful. Nikki had Jon out the next day. Jon was very friendly and professional. He and his apprentice came prepared with masks and shoe covers. After looking at the vent to get a general idea of what I was asking for the first thing he did was go down into the crawlspace to see exactly how it could be done. He told me upfront that he did need some specialty parts and would come back to perform the work. He wrote up a very reasonable quote that my wife and I were happy with.
While taking a look at the furnace he even changed the filter for me.
Nikki and Jon worked together with my schedule and were able to come out only two days later. Jon and his apprentice arrived around 2:30 pm, right on time within the time window we had agreed upon. They got straight to work. Both working together, one in the crawlspace and one up top working seamlessly together as one to get the job done. While they were working they kept the shop vac going the whole time to make sure my dining room and kitchen remained as dust free as it could. I really appreciated that. During the initial inspection and quote Jon said it would take him around three hours to complete the work. He and his partner finished up right at three hours. I was thrilled.
One thing I was especially grateful for was how Jon would constantly call down to his apprentice and yell, “ YOU GOOD!”. His care and concern for his partner made me feel like he really cares about his team and his work. He didn’t leave until the work was exactly how we wanted it. Thank you Jon, Caleb, Nikki and Morgan. The whole Hunts crew. I would absolutely recommend Hunts services to anyone I know. "

" I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. We recently used this company to install a mini split system in our house. The entire installation process was a pain. On the day of installation, they told me that one of the heads could not be installed at a location that we had agreed on unless I was willing to pay for for the labor. This is AFTER they cut into the drywall.
On top of that, they mistakenly installed a less expensive unit in one of the rooms and did not let me know until I raised a question. Their reason was "the warehouse made a mistake".
We have a total of 7 wall mounted Daikin units. It's only been a few months but two of the seven units have been making rattling noises even when they are turned off. I called several times to have it fixed and it is still an issue for us. This has been a very frustrating experience. I wish I had done more research before committing to this company. The entire system cost us 35k and we are NOT HAPPY with the result. "
