" I originally gave this store a bad review. They have tried very hard to change the issues and overall have succeeded. It's still and ugly box store, but, they've managed to keep some good help at the drug counter and the wait is not as long as it could be. It's clean and the pharmacists are helpful. It's still and big ole' ugly box store, but, I feel as if they have a good system, especially the phone ordering has had the kinks worked out. "

" Went to the hospital on sunday in horrible pain from herniated disks at multi levels in my spine the ER doctor made a call to rite aid in freeland checked on closing time because he had a patient coming from Coupeville hospital with a prescription for pain medication and an anti inflamatory i pulled into the parking lot 30 minutes before closing time. when to the "fill" window and the clerk says that they will not be able to fill this today as they are closing in 25 minutes that i could drive back to oak harbor or since i lived in clinton could take the ferry to mukilteo I call that the greatest customer service on earth giving me the option of driving for over an hour to another location because she was ready to get ready to go home. Needless to say that store is marked off my list. I would suggest that anyone treated so terrible write to the headquarters I did and it may not do any good but it did give me something to do in the middle of the night not being able to sleep again because of the terrible pain. There were no other patients filling scrips and it doesn't matter if there were. If you are not interested in helping people lock your door thirty minutes early so you are not disturbed while getting ready to be ready to close. Again thank you for those two minutes, maybe you should of checked with the person the Dr had spoke to as they could have taken care of me and you could have just continued getting ready to go home.this is a no star review but I am being forced to put at least one in to post. "

" I’ve been going to Rite Aid Freeland for 3 years, 2-3 times a month. The worst pharmacy in the world! I would fire the manager of this store! Going in 2 to 4 times a month for about 40 times a year, they screw up 75% of the time! One star is too good! Many times, they goof up my order or say, the can’t fill it. It’s extremely upsetting, since I have to travel to either Oak Harbor or Clinton. They tell me and others, to wait 15 to 20 minutes and one to 1-1/2 hours later, it may get filled. Employees have told me, it’s SOP to say it, even though, they know it will take longer. The same thing happens at the Oak Harbor Rite Aid store. My girl friend has the same problems. "

" 2 times filling prescriptions here. Exact same story. Go to pick up counter (Doctor's ofdice faxed in script both times) to be told...nope don't have you in the system (looked me up by birthday and last name). Go to drop off and see what they can find out. So I go to drop off...same story (2 different times about 2 years apart)...nope don't have it. So I casually say "my doctors office told me to tell you all to check your faxes". So they "check one more place" voila...there I am. This recent order says please fill STAT. So oh it will be about another hour. Wonderful....just wonderful. I have never had this problem at any other pharmacy and only use this one because it contracts with express scripts for times you need something today...so they have lost my business at this juncture. "

" I've been there three times and two of the times I have gotten my prescription after 3 hours, the other time it was the next day. They make the make the post office and DMV seem exciting. This place needs a management change or to be bought out. "

" This pharmacy is extraordinarily incompetent! It is so disturbing given the fact that there is one pharmacy on the south end of this island open on Sunday. And it's this one. We try to get a prescription filled, they refused and they even refused to speak to the Doctor Who wrote the prescription. They were rude. And my husband ended up back in the hospital because he didn't have the medications he needed. We are disgusted! "
