Are you looking for a new way to heal your relationship with food, body and self? That's what Tara does as an Eating Psychology and Holistic Health Coach.
She works with women and teenage girls to help guide them to a new way of living. To a life free from binge eating, digestive issues, chronic dieting, self-hate, body-hate, and self-sabotage.
You are worthy of being comfortable in your own skin. You deserve to have a life that lights you up.
Tara was a pharmacist for 12 years. One day she finally came clean with herself and admitted that she wasn't actually helping people heal. Instead she was giving them a bandaid, she was keeping the sick, sick. Offering them nothing more than a way to obscure the deeper issue and question, "Why do people get sick?"
It turns out it isn't as simple as we think.
Health and healing are one of our greatest desires and privileges we have as living being.
Our current approach to health isn't working. Modern medicine disempowers people. It doesn't educate and empower people to live a healthy life.
There is more to health than food and exercise. If counting calories and running marathons were the answer we wouldn't have a $60 billion dollar diet industry. Yes, you read that right, $60 billion!
Each person has their own unique story.
I believe that our bodies are our messengers. Symptoms become the language our bodies use to communicate with us. Our disease (dis-ease) is a way for us to hear where we are sick, and where we can heal.
Our relationship with food and body is a reflection of a deeper relationship with self and with life.
Just because you are sick, in pain, over weight, depressed or uninspired doesn't mean there is something wrong with you, it only means there are places that life is calling you to evolve, love and nurture.
Instead of restricting our food intake and exercising our butts off it is time to take a different approach to health.
As an Eating Psychology coach I address weight concerns, binge eating, overeating, body image challenges, low energy, depression and various nutrition related health concerns.
I use Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind Body Nutrition as part of my coaching. This looks at you as an individual. Your story is yours. Your relationship with food, body and self is different from the next. By learning about you as a unique individual I will be able to help shine the light on your own unique healing path.
I look at health with a different perspective on medicine. I look to our own inner wisdom, an infinite source of wealth, and health…honoring the soul.
We all have the power to heal. We are all worthy.
After struggling with an eating disorder for nearly two decades she know the pain of being uncomfortable in one's own skin, being full of discontent, food obsessed, depressed, low self-worth and the endless fear of fat.
My personal healing journey has been to learn to love my body, love myself for who I am, and find peace in my mind (because it can tell me some pretty crazy stuff!).
I want nothing more than to help guide teenage girls and women to find the same peace within. I want to stop the body obsession and body hate. I want to help women see their own authentic beauty (both inside and out). We as women have so much more to offer this world than a cookie cutter style body and beauty.
It is time that we women showe up in life in a powerful way. To stop obsessing about the number on the scale and calories consumed or burned. It is time to take that power and put it back into the world. Our true power.
When we heal ourselves we can heal the world. It starts with you, and Tara would be honored to be a part of your healing journey.
