The computerized database consists of summaries with teratogenic risk ratings for over 1,700 agents, each of which is based on a thorough review of the published clinical and experimental literature. All information on TERIS is analyzed and reviewed by an Advisory Board of world experts in medicine, epidemiology and genetics. The TERIS Advisory Board approve consensus ratings and risk assessments for each agent based on available data.TERIS was founded in 1986 by Dr. Jan M.
