Bukhara Factory of Gold Embroidery unique not only in ancient Bukhara, but also in the East.The art of Gold sewing, Zarduzi, on archeological data, is known since ancient times. Painting of palaces Varakhshi, Afrosiab VII-VIII centuries represent the people dressed in clothes with gold embroidery. The Spanish Ambassador (1403-1406) Rewi Gonzales De Kvalikho have mentioned in his diary about silk attire of AmirTemur's wife embroidered by Gold.By the end of XIX century this art was kept at a court of emir of Bukhara (craft of goldsewing was passed on father's experience to son)Gold Embroidery Craft has revived in Bukhara in 1930 by help of old masters. UNESCO published a number of books about this surprising art.Now masters of our factory successfully continue business of forefathers.As a lot of years back they embroider manually. Each thing is a true work of art whether it is a carpet, miniature, male/female dress or head-dress, which can be kept for some centuries.
