Don't miss this place just down from the craziness of the Soggy Dollar. More adults here and much less of a drinking fest. My teenagers were astounded by some of the behaviors at soggy dollar and the food was much better at Hendos. "

" Months after the devastation of huricanes Irma and Maria, whos merciless carnage is still tangible amongst these wondrous isles, a pheonix of delectable dining has arisen. From the ashes of mother nature's wrath, HENDO'S HIDEOUT has sprung forth vying for the legendary status of neighboring rivals Foxy's, and the Soggy Dollar. Having dined at all three exemplary establishments I can say definitively, Hendo's takes the gold medal. Unrivaled service by the friendliest, and sincerely accommodating staff, who will serve you the tastiest meal they can (on or off menu, during or after hours... upon request.) While their menu may ne short, it is also masterful. Our crew sampled nearly everything, both lunch and dinner and the result was the happiest, albeit stuffed, custumers in the Caribean. Drifting solemnly away from the restaurant in our now overloaded dinghy, weighed down by leftovers and overly satisfied patrons, I find myself fantasizing about our vessel succumbing to the emerald waves and remaining marooned in culinary paradise. "

" This is the new "must go" place on Jost. Upscale but relaxed. Had a nice talk with Hendo at the end of the meal. Very aggressive menu, and they pull it off with ease. Had one of tonight's specials, which had a fantastic pesto jalapeño cream sauce. The yellow fin was perfect. Being a restaurant owner myself, I really enjoyed hearing about the construction of Hendo's Hideout. Brazilian Teak reclaimed from rivers in Nicaragua, and the lighting custom made from clay in Tortola. Great bar, great outdoor West Indies feel. "
