" This a great experience to see nature in its wild state. Loved the variety of orchids, verns and everything lush. We reached the bottom just as a rain squall came through and was able to duck into a shelter to wait out the tropical rain. "

" Phantasea Tropical Garden is a treasure trove of beautiful plant life. I spent several happy hours photographing and learning about Epiphytes - non parasitic plants - orchids of all sorts - plants unlike any I have seen. There are places to sit and observe the miriad birds and other creatures who inhabit the garden. Patsy and Denise are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the plants, animals and the islands. They also sell orchids, air plants, eggs, feathers and refreshments. I highly recommend visiting. Take a camera, a book, a sketch book and enjoy! A wonderful break from the beach, and for local residents a lovely place to frequent. "

" This is an oasis of beauty and tranquility on St Thomas. The variety of orchids and other plants is stunning. The owner is friendly and eager to tell you what's new, as she is always adding and improving. As a St Thomas resident, this has become one of my favorite spots to come just to relax in the shade and watch the anoles. "
