" We rented a 2 door hardtop Jeep, it was pretty much brand new, in perfect condition. The staff at pick up was friendly and helpful. Went over the Jeep with us, and gave us tips on places to visit in the area.
Drop off was quick and friendly. Definitely will rent from them at our next visit to the island. "

" I've been going to St. John for the past 10 years from Vermont, USA. Getting to St. John USVI is a whole day event. I've rented Jeeps on St. Thomas and did the car ferry over and rented and at a number of places on St. john after taking the passenger ferry. In 2018 for the 1st time, I used St. John Car Rental and was very impressed with their staff, the ease of checking in and out and lastly the quality of the Jeep I rented. Additionally, St. John Car Rental allows you to park at their facility when you want to visit Cruz Bay which I took advantage of nightly. It's been the best experience in 10 years. I highly recommend St. John Car Rental and will rent again next year from them:) "

" We had a great experience with St. John Car Rental. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. If you go to St. John, you have to rent a Jeep, and rent it from St. John Car Rental. Easy pick up and drop off and convenient to the ferry. Parking in Cruz Bay is crazy, but they were always willing to squeeze us in so we could spend time in town. Thank you for your great service. "

" We just spent an awesome week in St John and it was made even better by Chris at St John Car Rental. He was able to get us a jeep on a spur of the moment and was very knowledgeable about where to go and visit while on the island. I would highly recommend using this car rental service. " VERY disappointed. We had JUST reserved a vehicle and then our airbnb said that our condo would NOT be up to par with the hurricane damage (also a last minute notification which is disappointing). I immediately contacted them and asked if since it was such a short time and this was from no fault of ours, if we could have our $100 deposit back - NOTHING. They wouldn't work with us or anything. I am disappointed in many of the areas of st. john and this car rental agency for sure.....we were trying to give them business even though we knew things wouldn't be great on the island but seems the locals REALLY don't want to work with people. I will be posting wherever possible about the dissatisfaction of their customer service. we were to travel Feb 8 but had to cancel our trip. "

" We had a very poor experience with St. John Car Rental over the holidays. First of all, we went to beautiful St. John to support the island after two major hurricanes in 2017. We have been going to St. John for 20+ years and it is a very special place for us. Also, we pretty much rented cars from every company on the island. Our expectations were not high due to the devastation to the island with the understanding that things were not going to be fully operational. However, the only disappointment we had was with this rental car company. When we were picking up the car, the employee of the company counted the rental days wrong and insisted on charging us an extra day. After 3 tries to explain to her, I turned to the owners asking their help. They agreed with me that it was an error but accused me by being rude. I was frustrated, not rude, because she did not understand the basic aspect of counting the rental days. It is probably not just her fault, but she was not given proper training either. To make matters worse, when we got home and checked the credit card, we saw 3 charges from this company. Sure enough, we were charged an extra day. The only credit I can give to this business is that when I emailed this error and they agreed to refund the money quickly. However, If I did not catch this error, they were going to charge us more than what we owed. After talking to locals on the island, we realized that the management has changed and there are new owners of this rental company. Unfortunately, their service is not what you expect from a friendly St. John business. You have a lot of options for car rentals on the island and I would suggest you rent from another company. Please go to St. John to support this beautiful island and its people, but save yourself a trouble and rent a car from another company... "

" Our jeep was clean and well-maintained, staff were friendly and helpful. I forgot my wallet (including ID, credit cards, and cash!) in the glove box and didn't realize it until we had left the island. I called them up and they found it and shipped it home to me, with everything still in it, for free. That was above and beyond- I would definitely book with them again! "

" We have been to beautiful St. John twice in the last year and are going again in a few weeks. Working with the owners and staff at St. John Car rental has been wonderful. The service is outstanding! Our experience was effortless; from arranging for after-hours car pick up from the owners themselves, to an easy car return after touring the island. They also gave us great advice on locations to visit. The cars are well cared for and in great condition. Whenever we are on St. John we will be renting from St. John Car Rental! "
