" We had a cool Swiss guy explain to us how pearl farms work and got to extract one new pearl ourselves from a dead shell. But you can't help but feel a bit sad for the shells (?), as they are kept in a cage their entire life (30 years), otherwise they'd swim away. Then there's just this big pearl shop, where you can buy pearls, if you're willing to spend some serious VND. "

" Is not a pearl farm, they have a pool with some oysters and they explain how to open and check if there is a pearl. Is a place made for tourist with a big shop to buy pearls. Not recommendable "
