Today the Shefa Tourism team participated in the clean up campaign on Nguna Island. Even though borders are still closed, the community of Nguna took the time & initiative to clean and pick up rubbish along Taloa Village (land and marine conservation area), Mere-Sauwia Village and the Mt.Marou volcano trek. A big thank you to Nguna Communities, Vanuatu Eco Tours, Eles School, Department of Tourism and everyone who participated.
Nguna also opens it's doors for tourism activi...ties to resume but we encourage all visitor's to please keep practicing safe hygiene measures and if you bring any items to the island that cannot be recycled we kindly ask for you to bring the rubbish back to Port Vila and dispose it in the appropriate place.
Nguna is keeping it beautiful for it's domestic visitors and international visitors in the future. 🏝⛰🚣🏊🌊☉🌿👒🕶🌴
