" Le Vasa Resort is pretty neat resort. Rooms are clean & comfortable and.... Big! It was excellent for us to repack our bags.
We felt it wasn't nothing special... the resort. It is run by an American dude I think and he wasn't as friendly.... As in greet us when walked pass us. The staff are friendly... but wasn't warm friendly.
The place is nice and right next to the water. If get up in the morning make sure you see the school of fish jumping out of the water.
The resort has lots of activities... if you want to do paddle boating, or go fishing etc...
The dinner was good. Not as expensive as western countries but reasonable Samoan Prices eating in a restaurant "

" They offer entries for day visitors, which is perfect if you're waiting for a plane or ferry, as it is only a very short drive away.
For 30 Tala you get to use the facilities of the hotel, incl. pool, beach towel etc.
We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious! Very friendly and quick staff.
Would go again! "

" Wedding planning organisation = An absolute Shams! If anyone is thinking of holding their wedding at Le Vasa, think again. I kid you not. Hotel staff hung around as if they were guests, seen eating and drinking from the bar tab for the wedding guests. Some of the waiting staff treated you like an inconvenience whenever you tried to ask for a drink. Service was definitely not welcoming.
Housekeeping = LAZY. Towels are put on the floor to indicate that fresh and clean towels are requested, except Le Vasa staff pick it up and hang back up on the rail. No actual cleaning is carried out. Very poor.
Hotel Management = Questionable. Hotel staff at the front desk were informed of a faulty air conditioning but no one attended to the matter or attempted to fix the fault.
Hotel staff tried to charge $550 Tala for a walkin rate even after midnight, but when inquired two days earlier the rate for a walkin paying by cash, the rate advised was $250 Tala cash.
No hot water.
No soap or shampoo/conditioner - instead a dispenser in the shower with no note to tell guests that it contains Shampoo/Conditioner and soap, 3 in 1...groce! For all I know you could be washing your hair with hand soap.
Swimming Pool = way too much chlorine that your eyes burn.
Overall my experience including family and friends was very disappointing and will not be visiting this place ever again or recommending to anyone.
A piece of advice for the Le Vasa Wedding Coordinator, find another job as you clearly have no knowledge or experience with coordinating such an event. Instead you made the family feel like crap and completely disrespected their wishes. We partly blame you for the frustration caused on the day, however we accept this is down to the lack of experience and knowledge you have. "
