" Beautiful accomodation and the food is fresh from the pacific ocean every day. Free kayak and snorkelling gear for hire to explore the turquoise paradise on your doorstep. With a very diverse marine population you'll see a different species of fish everyday. Beyond the protected reef is some pretty gnarly break waves unless you are an advanced surfer i would not advise surfing beyond Saletoga's protected reef. "

" The good: very beautiful location, well-built bungalows, pool and beach were very picturesque and service by the pool and bell-hop was excellent. The bad: AC-unit in our bungalow was too small to handle the square-footage of the room, therefore it was too hot and uncomfortable at night especially during the hot-season. The restaurant staff was very unprofessional in their manners and did not practice basic customer service ; for example 1. The staff was busy conversing and laughing out loud in front of the customers within the restaurant 2. We had to walk to the bar in order to get our own water and drinks for our table , the waiters did not come by once to ask for refills or ask if we needed to order anything else . 3. There were numerous flies swarming in the restaurant especially during the hot season , making it hard to eat . 4. The menu has 5-pages of lunch and 1-for dinner and only offering a small variety of choices of meats , if u are vegetation there are definitely more choices for you. Overall the staff could use a class on basic hotel customer etiquette as most of them do not smile or say the basic greeting of the day when passing by , although the bell-hop at the front of the hotel was very friendly . Just a suggestion but if there were more trained-managers and classes offered to the local staff - this would definetly enhance the overall experience of the hotel or take a book out of the 2-excellent staff members that work at the pool. Another suggestion if you are a guest, order your food delivered to your room in order to avoid dealing with the staff - this experience has actually worked well as they will deliver your meal straight to your room and there is a beautiful deck just outside of your room to enjoy your meal. If there is no investment in improving customer service than the price needs to match the current level of hospitality and quality that the business offers. If I were to bring the great customer service of Taumeasina to Saletoga it would of made for a better overall experience . "

" My partner & I had an excellent holiday at Saletoga sands. From the moment we arrived at the hotel to the day we (sadly) left we were blown away by the quality, cleanliness and beauty of the resort.
The day tours, kindly organised by Calvin from the resort were excellent - we saw a culture & side of Samoa that we did not expect to experience and our trip was richer for it.
Not enough can be said about the resort itself - the website really doesn't do the resort justice. All the rooms are exceedingly close to the beach and the pool, the entire resort is nestled in a idyllic corner of Samoa. We didn't have any problems being a little farther away from the main center thanks to the convenient shuttle service run by Pati.
I could go on but overall if you are considering an island holiday anywhere, most of all Samoa - you absolutely cannot pass up the opportunity to come to the beautiful Saletoga Sands.
