" Matareva Beach Fales is run by the Matareva people. When you first come in you will see a board to Matareva beach Fales and as soon as you turn there is a once off payment for Cars, Bikes and even for walking... It's a 30mins walk in the gravel as one of the people did it from the bus stop in the main road. Taxi drivers might drove you half way but if you a girl make sure you ask them to drop you at the fale.If you a SUV it take you 10-15min to get too. The roads become narrow then you will see a fishing reserve sign and another sign called Matareva Beach Fales. You are in the right track to reception,, Another 2-3mins drive from here.
The Fale is very traditional and need to crawl to get it. They do have huts.
The reception area is where the food is served and they have a table tennis, pool table and a bar in the back.
The gentlemen and his wife who runs the place is very nice and wants to always improve.
When the low tide come it's amazing. You can pretty much keep starring at the beach. I think this beach is amazing and they do keep place clean. Excellent corals with blue fish, sea stars and sea cucumbers.
The food is traditional Samoan food. Breakfast they reuse some previous night food but they have other food as well. I really enjoyed lunch and dinner in this place. (see pic)
I wouldn't surprise some of the hot older dancers try to get cosy with you, but they are respectful.. It's girls responsibility to accept or reject.

" Stayed for 5 nights. Had the best time in Matareva Beach Resorts. The staffs have been very friendly and helpful. The fale is right at the beach, we sleep so well with wave sound as lullaby. Went for snorkelling everyday, the reefs and fishes are wonderful! Highly recommended. "

" This place is really nice, well worth the visit, much more private and away from civilisation than most other fales which are roadside. The beach is beautiful white sand but has more rock features and interest than some other plainer beaches. The family and people there are all super nice and we got along really well. It is possible to volunteer here as well, which is pretty tempting! "
