Further to last week’s update about changes to the club’s access to the beach and launch site, new access gates are now in place as well as a new dog friendly area. Some additional boat and trailer parking has been added to help alleviate the congestion in the car park with boats and vehicles vying for space when sea conditions are good and every man and his dog are at the club!

On behalf of all members of the DSBC & DUC....The two Watersports Clubs that make up the PWC, we express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Justin Adams the Deputy Harbour Master of TNPA (Transnet National Ports Authority) for granting access to park trailers & boats on the grass verge in front of the club looking into the harbour entrance. This will provide much needed parking congestion relief and greatly enhance our experience at our magnificent facilities. Special thanks to Adrian Ash for his role in coordinating this arrangement with the TNPA. PLEASE WILL MEMBERS ALWAYS KEEP ACCESS TO THE NORTH PIER BREAKWATER FREE....DO NOT PARK OR OTHERWISE OBSTRUCT THE TARRED ROAD
