" I don't know what ails old Theuns below but it makes me angry to read such crap. I've stayed at Tweni camp four or five times now, and it's been unfailingly excellent. The location is beautiful, right on the Tweni river, the camp is lovely, full of trees and shade. The owner, Toby, is a good guy. He runs a tight ship. The showers always have hot water, the toilets are always spotless (where the hell this Theuns comes with stinky toilets I don't know), the grounds are always immaculately maintained. This last time I stayed there, November 2016, I had Anita, Toby's wife, bring some brownies she'd baked over to my caravan for me. That's the kind of people they are. Sharin, the manager there, is super nice. And for what it's worth, I've stayed in a caravan every time I've been there and it's always been perfectly adequate - not new, but clean, spacious, good tent, the bedding changed free of charge every other week. I've done a fair amount of camping in my time, and I've never quite come across a campsite to rival Tweni for its combination of beautiful location, friendly owners and staff, and well maintained facilities. If Toby doesn't sell I'll be going back there for years to come. "

" What a load of kak. Got the to the place on Sunday. Met with a guy on the intercom that does not seem to want to be there. Then we had to pay an additional R500 deposit ( I already paid months ahead for my stay and nothing was mentioned) then I had to pay an additional amount of R120 for the aircon remote. Nothing ever mentioned of that either. From there I go to the caravan I rented..what a bad joke...stinks. caravan is old and decrepit. Tent is even worse off. Toilet stinks. ..never clean when you get there. So for anyone who wants to come here...be aware. ....you have been warned. "
