" A member of the hotel staff knocked on our room's door while my boyfriend was taking a shower in a shared bathroom outside. She said the hotel owner wanted to see me. I went to the reception to meet him, and while I was there the owner stalled for time, giving me an alternate phone number for this hotel as well as asking to see my guidebook. While I was there, someone entered our room and took all the money in my boyfriend's moneybelt, which he left in the room when he went to take a shower. The owner of this hotel seemed all too calm when we showed up with the police- he denied being involved and we never got our money back:( A few weeks later we met another couple who told us a very similar story about the same place. Avoid at all costs! "
