HARVEST SUNDAY First reading Psalms 47:1-9... Main text: Deuteronomy 26:1-11
{Question} •What great things has God done for you? •Do you remember? God fulfilled what he promised to our forefathers that he will deliver them to the promise land. God ordered the children of Israelite that when you reach into the promise land they should give their first fruit. * On this passage we are seeing that God wanted children of Israel to show gratitude when the reach the promise land by giving in thankful! * Do you keep record or count when God bless you? * By keeping record / count that’s when you can remember to be thankful. * Many are times us Christian we forget easily what God has done for us, instead we only keep record/ count on unanswered prayers or any other negative things. * We shouldn’t live life of full of complaints. By doing that we attract blessings. * When you have the heart of thankful even God begin to richly bless you! * Praying in thankful manner God start to work new things within you, and he eventually start to perform miracles Automatically. * Many are times we block God’s blessings ourselves by not being thankful in little things. * How can we Evangelize when we don’t share the good things our God has done for us, we should testify the goodness of God through his word! * We shouldn’t concentrate on negative side of things rather we should see positivity in all things. * As Christian we should learn to be thankful to God despite tough times.
