The Alternative Dispute Solutions Centre (The Centre) is a private dispute resolution authority established in 2020 to promote the use of early neutral evaluation, mediation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms in Zimbabwe. In addition, it provides education and training for current and prospective arbitration practitioners and arbitrators.The Centre has access to the most eminent and experienced evaluators, arbitrators, mediators and experts from many jurisdictions who resolve business and legal disputes in efficient, cost-effective and impartial ways. It also provides a high-level academic forum for exchanging ideas on salient issues and current developments in the field of arbitration and other forms of ADR.The Centre prides itself in delivering expediency and ensures neutrality during the dispute resolution process, in the enforcing of dispute outcomes and retaining the privacy of disputants. It seeks to ensure that its members and nominated mediators and arbitrators uphold high standards of professional competence and possess the relevant qualifications to preside over mediations and arbitrations.
