" Community run campsite - hard to get to, but go via Katiyo on the Murewa-Mutawatawa road. It's possible to walk from there. No electricity or running water, and bring your own food (although you could buy traditional meals from locals). Excellent walking along the Mazowe River, great birdlife and animals (Hippos, antelopes, crocodiles, leopards, monkeys in Umfurudzi Safari Area), ancient rock art (ask locals). "
