Greetings and a warm welcome to our very first issue of Community Business Magazine .We couldn’t be more excited to have made it to this point. Please take some time to get to know the layout of our Magazine. Just as with a paper magazine, you may want to sit and read the whole thing at once, or come back to the issues several times to digest the articles more slowly.

A Magazine is a collection of inspired and instructive articles written by real, honest, down-to-earth folks who work hard to live deliberately, but who are not afraid to admit the struggles we sometimes face in day to day living

We appreciate your support and we are so happy to have you as a reader of this Magazine.

Community Business Magazine is a publication with mission to connect people in the community to business and business to people in the community. We focus on current initiatives that give positive ideas on how to recognise and preserve sustainable communities. The magazine will be exploring sustainable intentional community living and creating community where you live now.

The magazine will be based on seeking community to join, Business ideas and experiences, Development Projects articles, Self-help project articles, Topics from experts in any field of speciality, Articles from new farmers, Business Adverts, Youth initiatives and Programmes, Gender issues in the communities and work place, starting a new community, Process and communication issues in the community.

We include articles from organisations that help the less privileged people in the community. We are interested only in writing which directly or indirectly relates to intentional communities or to some aspect of cooperative living or an organized neighbourhood. {THIS IS IMPORTANT}. We reject many pieces from people who have issue that do not contribute to community development.

This publication will give details to the Community’s all regular weekly activities, Public meetings and events updates, urban or rural group households, artists’ collectives, housing co-operatives, income-sharing groups and church or public conferences.

There are valuable couple of pages at the back with all the important emergency numbers and community contact details. These should, ideally be taken out and kept in your handbag, briefcase or cubby hole of your car, saved in your phone, tablets and I pads.

We aim to inform readers about sporting, artistic and cultural events that one can become involved in and let people know about interesting places that they might like to visit in and around Chikomba District and beyond.
