" Stayed here 2 nights and it was one of the most uncomfortable hostel experiences ever.
1. you hear everything, including the construction work to the flushing.
2. Lumpy pillows that smell used, dirty (yellowish) blankets
3. Mouldy smells in the bedroom (bad aeration and wet towels)
4. Toilet and Bathroom that smell of pee and mould, not to mention only 1 unisex toilet for everyone there (15 people)
5. A very, very simple breakfast that ceases your hunger because you can't eat plastic toast from melted butter stored in plastic container (dioxins for breakfast anyone?)
6. very dim lighting and NO windows that hardly lends any proper illumination and coupled with cheap furniture makes me think of a school dormitory or boarding school for delinquents.
The basic ammenities of hot shower water, toilet paper, WIFI and air conditioning are otherwise provided. A good location in Chinatown, but does not matter when you can't sleep well anyway and dread coming back the hostel.
I also experienced one of the worse customer relationship management issues with them, with the manager himself claiming I made a booking mistake and I should pay extra. Thankfully I made a screenshot of my booking as soon I made it to defend my intelligence. Their booking system is flawed, but more so their customer handling - blaming the customer first is a giant NO.
needless to say a cheap-ass place and you get your money's worth literally. That's the honest truth! "
