" It was interesting. If you're into maritime type stuff. Clean toilets when I went. Hot as hell inside. "

" Great little museum with lots of information about the history of fishing in Iceland. Also had an exhibit about the Cod War that was well done and informative. "

" The Museum portrays fishing quite well, but even the most interested individuals will find it hard to spend more than an hour in the actual museum.
The tour of the Oðinn is a different story. The Oðinn is pretty much the same as when the coast guard used it. It is fully furnished, even books, maps, instruments and tools are where they are supposed to be.
Unfortunately it is only possible to enter the Danish built ship with a guided tour, so freedom is limited.
Our guide was quite enthusiastic and competent regarding everything Icelandic and especially when talking about boating. His compatce did not seem to be as strong with foreign languages and social skills.

I would recommend it to everyone who has a strong interest in the Icelandic naval culture and some maritime knowledge. "
